I got the inspiration for the project while living in London by staying in disability-friendly rooms and observing disabled people traveling alone. I researched the treatment and living conditions of disabled people in China and the UK and studied the Social Model of Disability, which recognizes that disability is not only an individual impairment but is also excluded and restricted by social environments and structures. I found that the UK does much better than China in terms of accessibility and social inclusion but still falls short in terms of employment. The social model emphasizes social responsibility. The project aims to call for public awareness, understanding, and education of people with disabilities through the presentation of the final image, to provide a platform for their voices to raise awareness and understanding of people with disabilities in society and to prevent discrimination and exclusion from occurring, and to call for the establishment of an inclusive and barrier-free environment and system to ensure equal rights and opportunities for people with disabilities.

As society progresses and attitudes change, fashion photography is increasingly focused on showcasing diversity and inclusion. This innovation in the field of fashion helps to combat prejudice and negative perceptions of people with disabilities in society, utilizing the power of visual media and the exaggeration of fashion to promote the rights and social participation of people with disabilities. To achieve this, models with different disabilities will be showcased for their diversity and potential in different scenarios, highlighting their abilities and contributions in various fields at the same time, I hope to stimulate the interest and participation of the younger generation to promote a more inclusive and accessible future. These images will raise awareness and inspire society to provide more support and assistance to people with disabilities.
